A good holiday home needs a good kitchen and at the Gite de la Gravée you will find a well equipped kitchen that will meet your requirements.

We have thought of your every need when kitting out the kitchen. If you invite guests – on sunny days you and your family/friends can easily all eat outside as there is plenty of crockery, cutlery and glasses.

We have even remembered the Champagne Flutes !

The kitchen

The kitchen units form an L-shape and the kitchen is near to the downstairs shower room down a couple of steps.

In the centre of the kitchen there is a table and 4 chairs as well as two further chairs nearby.

The kitchen is well equipped to enable you to prepare small or large meals or salads. If you prefer to enjoy a lazy holiday there is everything you need to cook pizzas and other ready meals.

You will find olive oil and cooking oil, wine vinegar, salt, pepper, coffee and tea filters (subject to availability).

Under the kitchen sink there are cleaning products including washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets.

Useful info! The WiFi is perfect in the kitchen, ideal for finding your favourite recipes on-line and why not find some local recipes from the Vendée region such as Mojettes (a recipe based on the local white beans) frogs legs from the marais Poitevin or mussels?

The kitchen is at the heart of the gîte and there is a beautiful stone archway which leads through to the lounge.

From the other side, down a couple of steps you enter a beautiful corridor made from local stone which leads to the shower room, the utility room and the master bedroom all of which is on the ground floor.

In the utility room next to the kitchen there is a washing machine, fridge/freezer, iron and ironing board and vacuum cleaner.
