This double bedroom is on the first floor above the kitchen and still has the original pine parquet flooring.
A double bed with natural latex mattress, bolster, 4 pillows, blankets and sheets are supplied. Depending upon the season the bed is made up with blankets or a quilt.
We have kept this room quite neutral in colour and this is accented by the colour of the quilt cover or throw.
The room was actually one of the attic rooms of the house and still has the sloping ceiling.

The Louis-Phillippe era wardrobe is impressive and you may ask yourself how it came to be positioned in the room. If you look at the window or the door you won’t find the answer to this question, so please don’t hesitate to ask us how we managed to get the wardrobe into this converted attic!
The wardrobe has hanging space and space for your other clothes.
The window looks out on the summer lounge opposite the gîte.
There is a spare set of bed linen in a cardboard box at the bottom of the wardrobe for your convenience.
Our bonus! If you would like the bed linen changed during your stay please let us know and we will wash your bed linen leaving you free to enjoy your holidays. This also applies to the other beds in the gîte.
