Le Puy Du Fou

Le Puy du Fou – an unmissable attraction in the Vendée

It’s forty years since the Cinescénie at the Puy du Fou was created and a few years later the great extravaganza of outdoor shows followed. It has to be seen to be believed.

This leisure park is known as one of the most beautiful in the world, having won the Best Park in the World and the Best Theme Park in the World awards.

We encourage you greatly to make the most of your stay at the Gîte de la Gravée and visit the Puy du Fou. Keep a day free to visit the Park and if you like something to look forward to book your places for the Son et Lumière spectacular show the Cinescénie well in advance to avoid disappointment!

The park

Once you enter the Puy du Fou le Parc you will start to relive different eras in French history and of the Vendée through the shows. Wander around the 50 hectare site and visit the period villages, all rebuilt to show what life in the village must have been like all those years ago. It’s a great way to learn history for everyone, from young to old.
